Diatomaceous Earth - Food Grade - See Coupon below
If you have fleas, the best natural flea control is Diatomaceous Earth. If you're going to apply this in your yard, you should lightly dust the entire area so that at least a small amount is on the entire part in which your animal will be playing.
Diatomaceous Earth, a perfectly, natural remedy for any flea problem - Diatomaceous Earth and fleas and ticks don't get along, but it's been a natural part of the earth since life began here.
You may have to do it periodically - if it rains, some of it will wash away and it will lose some of its effectiveness. If your yard is infested, after you've done this for a few weeks to a month, you won't need to do it for a while. Flea larva and little baby fleas will be killed, unless there is a new source of fleas from the neighbor's pets or yards, they won't be coming back.
The same rules apply for using indoors. We suggest that you first vacuum everywhere.
On your dog: If you’ve ever used a flea powder, it’s the same concept. Make sure you do the belly, inner thighs and along the back. You need very little so don’t go overboard. Be careful. It is a very fine dust so don't create a big cloud of dust or you might start coughing if it is inhaled. Go slowly and again, use very little on your dog. It’s the environment where it counts the most.

The same rules apply for using indoors. We suggest that you first vacuum everywhere. Make sure to empty the vacuum bag outside in a trash can or throw the entire bag away. It will contain flea eggs which can later hatch. You can even vacuum up a small amount of DE to help control what might be living in the vacuum. Just not too much or it could clog. After a good vacuuming sprinkle the bedding and then carpet. Make sure you get it anywhere that is dark where fleas like to hide. Spread it around the perimeter of your walls and don’t forget the corners. You can even put it between the sofa cushions, its perfectly safe. Vacuum it up after a few days.
